Experience Level: Mid-Senior level - Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) with 6 – 10 years of experience in leading revenue growth & building scalable sales engine. This role is about building, not inheriting. The right CRO will have both the entrepreneurial drive and proven sales discipline to turn early traction into market leadership.
Role Overview: We are hiring a hands-on Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead revenue growth and build a scalable sales engine. This role is about execution: taking revenue from $100K to $10M+ with a clear focus on the middle market. This is not a figurehead role—the CRO will be in the trenches, closing deals, developing the go-to-market playbook, and scaling the revenue team.
What is expected of you?
As part of the job, you will be required to
Revenue Growth & Pipeline
- Design and own the revenue strategy across direct sales, partnerships, and channels.
- Build a predictable, repeatable sales process tailored for mid-market clients.
- Personally drive pipeline creation, deal execution, and revenue growth.
Go-to-Market Leadership
- Develop positioning, pricing, and messaging that resonate with business and technology leaders.
- Shorten sales cycles and increase win rates through clear value articulation.
- Align sales and marketing activities to generate qualified opportunities.
Team Building & Leadership
- Recruit, coach, and scale a lean, high-performing revenue team.
- Establish sales KPIs, forecasting discipline, and accountability frameworks.
- Partner with delivery and product leaders to ensure client success and growth.
Market Expansion
- Identify high-potential verticals within the mid-market.
- Develop strategic partnerships to accelerate market penetration.
- Continuously refine the revenue playbook based on client feedback and data.
Requirements
Must have technical skills
- Proven experience taking revenue from early stage (~$100K) to $10M+ and beyond.
- Expertise in selling services/solutions to mid-market companies.
- Hands-on operator: comfortable building pipeline and closing deals directly.
- Strong background in go-to-market strategy, revenue systems, and scaling sales teams.
- Track record of aligning closely with founders, delivery, and product teams.
- Experience with innovative services/SaaS/productized models strongly preferred.
Compensation
- Low base + high variable compensation tied to revenue growth.
