The client

Dash Solutions manages prepaid card programs for its clients, with a mission of making payments mean more. The company gives its clients and solutions partners speed, operational freedom, and stronger productivity, and its programs help those clients cut costs and deepen engagement with their customers. That value proposition was working: demand for Dash Solutions' programs was growing quickly.

What was breaking

Growth was arriving faster than Dash Solutions could staff for it. The company ran on people rather than software: account managers manually set up cards, pulled reports, and handled compliance checks by hand. Every new client added to that manual load, and headcount grew in lockstep with the business, so the cost of winning clients ate directly into the margin they produced.

That friction eventually reached clients. Because their systems did not connect to the platform Dash Solutions ran on, data moved between the two through manual hand-offs, and clients had no live view of their card programs and no direct control over them.

Product launches faced the same issue too. Each new product meant another manual process to design and staff, work that held Dash Solutions back against competitors that could ship sooner, even as the company kept winning business faster than its operating model could absorb.

Why thinkbridge

Dash Solutions assessed the paths forward:

  • Stay on the service-heavy model: That capped growth at the rate the company could recruit and train support staff, and it left the margin problem in place.
  • Build an internal engineering team: The hiring runway ran longer than the market would wait, and it meant carrying a permanent headcount against an unpredictable workload.
  • Buy off-the-shelf software: Prepaid card operations would have to bend into a vendor protocol, which is the compromise that produced the spreadsheets in the first place.

Dash Solutions chose a fourth path: a system modeled on their operations, built into production, and owned outright. The company keeps the code, the data, and the logic, so the platform sits on their books as an asset rather than a subscription they rent. thinkbridge built it.

What thinkbridge built

thinkbridge built the end-to-end platform that Dash Solutions runs on today.

With thinkOne, thinkbridge brought the three workflows that had consumed the account management team, card management, reporting, and compliance, into a single automated system. Account managers moved from manually handling that work to overseeing it, freeing their time for the client relationships that drive growth.

The engagement then extended into a client-facing API layer, delivered under thinkTeam, within the thinkOne scope. The layer plugs the platform directly into client systems, replacing manual hand-offs with live data and giving clients direct control over their programs. Managed maintenance continues as the platform evolves alongside Dash Solutions' growth.

Dash Solutions owns the entire system that was built.

What changed

10x client capacity per account manager. With card management, reporting, and compliance handled by the system, each account manager now runs about ten times the client load carried before, capacity Dash Solutions puts directly toward winning new business.

3x growth with no added support headcount. Dash Solutions tripled its book of business while its support team stayed the same size. Growth reached the bottom line instead of funding more hiring.

8x faster product launches. New prepaid card products reach the market at roughly eight times the previous pace, expanding what Dash Solutions can commit to in a client conversation.

Stickier client relationships. Direct API access changed the daily working relationship with clients and raised the cost of switching providers.

An asset Dash Solutions owns.  The code, the data, and the logic belong to the company. There is no license gate and no dependency on thinkbridge to keep the platform running.
